A beautiful narrative game about a cursed family. What really remained with me was the "Fish scene"
I don't really know why this specific scene sticked with me so deeply, that said, the entirety of the game it's an absolute must play.
It is filled with many moments that really stay woith you, I recomend if not a playtrough then at least a gameplay watch.
This movie divulges into childhood horror in an experimental way. Many of my childhood memories feel like watching this movie.
The horror is childhood.
And something is oh so wrong.
But, as Scott Cawthon wrote:
"What is seen in the shadows is easily misunderstood in the mind of a child."
I was not able to watch it, it felt too unconfortable. Thankfully, there are many reviews that made it a manageable experience for me.
The mother scene keeps me up at night.
This movie. I watched it with my father since Nicolas Cage was in it, thinking it would be just a silly experience, as many of his movies are.
What I did not expect, was such a strong experience. The movie itself is ok, it's a good portrayal of the book, of wich I was not aware of before watching.
What I did not expect, was how the body horror made me feel. It's a kind of horror I tend to be fine with, but the underlying themes made it hit too close to home.
A recommended watch.

Being Italian, and growing up in the early 2000's , Favij is a deeply important part of my childhood.
Along with other creators like Gabby16bit, those where my first experiences in video game horror.
This was far from my first experience with horror in video games, but Kraven Manor is one that really sticked with me.
It's a simple manequin teleport behind you puzzle horror game, but that feeling of unheasyness it gave to child me, it never left me.
The tower, the veins, the crows, the game.
But you already knew that, didn't you? so why are you upset?
A game that knowsa how to build tension without loud noises or jumpscares
